FXRP

Plain definition. FXRP is a form of XRP on the Flare network, minted from XRP through Flare’s FAssets system, that makes XRP programmable for use in decentralized finance.

Technical definition. Flare described FXRP in a post on its website as a form of XRP minted through FAssets, the part of Flare’s infrastructure built for trust-minimized asset representation. An XRP holder mints XRP into FXRP through the FAssets Portal, which yields FXRP on Flare. FXRP can then be bridged to Ethereum with Stargate and posted as collateral, while holders keep full price exposure to XRP.
