XRP
Plain definition. XRP is the cryptocurrency supported by the XRP Ledger, an open-source blockchain, and the XRPL documentation says it allows faster cost-effective transactions.
Technical definition. The XRP Ledger documentation defines XRP as the cryptocurrency supported by the XRP Ledger (XRPL), operating on an open-source blockchain and allowing faster cost-effective transactions. The XRP Ledger itself is a blockchain that permanently records digital transactions of tokens between accounts. Holders manage their XRP on the ledger through wallets.
